My infatuation with food began at an early age. After I graduated from Boston University I pursued my culinary interests at Le Cordon Bleu in London. My French-inspired education has allowed me to work in many dynamic fields. I began my career working for Martha Stewart and studied under Jacques Pepin and Julia Child. I taught cooking classes at Peter Kump’s New York Cooking School and was the Chef and Event Planner for Jordan Caterers in Darien. Before moving back to Connecticut, I was the Chef for Bon Vivant in Boston, where I earned the distinction as the preferred caterer for Rosecliff Mansion in Newport, RI. I was the catering Director for The Good Food Store in Darien, where my talents made me the choice caterer for celebrities Jason Robards and Paul Newman. I was the and Event Planner and Head Chef at Davids Soundview Catering in Stamford, CT where I was responsible for special event planning, menu development, design, and execution. My culinary expertise and attention to design have won me some national media attention in Fine Cooking Magazine, Connecticut Magazine, and News 12 Connecticut. Most importantly, I love what I do!
As a cancer survivor, I know how important it is to eat foods that are is fresh and clean. I've learned that the old cliché "we are what we eat" is SO true when it comes to our health. I am committed to buy and cook foods that will make both your tastebuds and your body happy.
As a mother of 4 children, I value the time we spend eating together. It is one of my greatest joys to be able to share good food with families so that they can come together and enjoy quality time and food together.
